Anti-Bullying Art Therapy

The anti-bullying program combines information about bullying through a short power point presentation followed by art expression. The information describes what bullying is, what harm it causes, and what kids can do in various situations. The children create an art expression of their experience of bullying, followed by an effective solution to the problem that they learnt from the power point presentation or have already tried themselves. The art work is then processed by therapist and student to have an emotional response to the bullying situation followed by the satisfaction of an effective solution. The students are invited to share in front of the class if they wish. The program ends with a grounding exercise.

Anti-bullying may be presented to groups of students, class rooms of students, and individually to children, adolescents and adults.
